HUBBARD Anna S. Zadravec, 91, died Wednesday evening, December 31, 2008, at Liberty Health Care. She was born May 3, 1917, in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph and Magdalene Yakapats Coleman and lived most of her life in Hubbard.
Mrs. Zadravec was a homemaker and a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard. Her church and family were a very important part of her life and she was a very giving person by reaching out to help those in a time of need and placing others before herself. She had a passion for baking and cooking and was always willing to share a meal and her baked goods. Anna enjoyed studying the Bible, crafts and bird watching.
Her husband, Charles Zadravec Sr., whom she married November 30, 1935, died September 9, 1967. She leaves a daughter, Donna Jean (James) Palko of Hubbard; a son in law, Tharen Lentz Sr. of Hubbard and among other grandchildren, James (Kristine) Palko of West Middlesex, PA and Terry Lentz of Hubbard.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Charles Zadravec Jr., a daughter, Mary Louise Lentz, a brother, Julius Coleman, a sister, Barbara Zaluski and a granddaughter, Lea Anna Palko.
Funeral services will be Monday, 9:30 am at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 10:00 am at St. Patrick Church.
Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3 to 5 pm.
