HUBBARD Anna Fitzsimons Phillips, 87, of Hubbard, died Thursday morning, November 25, 2004, at Greenbriar Nursing Home. She was born January 20, 1917 in Kalamazoo, MI, a daughter of Joe and Mary Plum Fabian and resided in Hubbard since 1986.
Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker and previously worked for Plakie Toys and General Fireproofing Corp. She was a member of St. Patrick Church in Hubbard and enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting, crafts, playing cards, family reunions, soap operas and baseball.
Her husband, Edgar Phillips, died March 22, 1993.
She leaves five sons, James R. Fitzsimons of FL, Thomas G. Fitzsimons of Hubbard, William J. (Dolores) Fitzsimons of Hubbard, Michael P. Fitzsimons of Cleveland, Charles J. (Lannie) Fitzsimons of WI; a brother, James (Anna) Fabian of Hubbard; a sister, Marylyn Wagner of OH; 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Her parents, a son, Robert E. Fitzsimons, brothers, Joseph, George, Frank, Charles and John Fabian and a sister, Mary Garovich preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, 9:15 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
