HUBBARD Anna P. "Pat" Greenstone 96, of Hubbard, passed away February 12, 2014. Born January 11, 1918 in Youngstown, Pat was the daughter of Stanley and Adelaide (Burns) Potock and was a lifelong area resident. She was a cherished wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and neighbor.

She retired in 1992 after working for 25 years in the shipping department at Hills Department Store in the Liberty Plaza.

Pat was married on October 22, 1949, to Jerome "Jerry" Greenstone, an army veteran of World War II who preceded her in death November, 1998. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 3767 in Hubbard and during the war she worked in a factory that built bridges for the troops.

Pat enjoyed bowling, golfing, and rooting for the Cleveland Browns and Indians.

Pat met life's challenges with grace and dignity and will be sadly missed by her son Thomas (Mary) Hamley of Lawrenceville, GA; a brother Michael (Ann) Potock of Girard; a daughter-in-law Rita Hamley of Painesville; four grandchildren Kara (Jeff) O'Donnell of Cleveland Heights; Kristin (Dustin Grove) Hamley of Chicago; Debra Wharton and Timothy Hamley both of Lawrenceville, GA; six great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents and husband, Pat was preceded in death by a son William Robert Hamley; and four sisters, Pauline Gleydura, Bernice Potock, Louise Martin, and Lenora Malatok.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday March 15, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church with Fr. James Johnson officiatin. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the Memorial Mass from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the church

Burial will follow in Hubbard Union Cemetery.
