HUBBARD A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday January 16, 2016 at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Joe Ruggieri officiating for Anna Theresia Fabian, 90, formerly of Hubbard, who died Monday, late morning, January 11, 2015 at her home surrounded by her son and daughters. She was born October 11, 1925 in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph N. and Mary Schui Patzek Sr. and was a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Fabian, a homemaker, was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church and its Legions of Mary, Infant of Prague and Altar and Rosary Society and made her Renewal in 2008. Anna enjoyed crocheting, gardening, playing cards, playing Rummy Cube with her friends at Villa Marie but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Her husband, James Fabian Sr., whom she married November 27, 1943, died August 3, 2006.
She leaves a son, James (Ramonda) Fabian Jr. of Crofton, MD; seven daughters, Claudia Dugan of Struthers, Mary Ann (Scott) Wood of North Jackson, Gina (John) LaBelle of Newark, OH, Patty (Tony) Boggs of Struthers, Arlene (Arthur) Ginnetti of Struthers, Pam (John Jr.) Ruggieri of Brookfield and Bev (Tony) Ward of Austintown; a brother, John Patzek of Casper, WY; 24 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, James Joseph "Cubby" Fabian; a brother, Joseph N. Patzek Jr. and a sister, Mary E. Fabian.
Family and friends may call on Friday January 15, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral and also one half hour prior to the Mass from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Allegheny Health Network Office of Fund Development, Hospice and Palliative Care, 4818 Liberty Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15224.
Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
