HUBBARD Ann M. Orlando, 92, died December 17, 2009 at Sharon Regional Hospital. She was born April 5, 1917 in Hubbard, a daughter of Benjamin and Marietta LaCivita Longo and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Mrs. Orlando was a partner in the family business, the former Longo Restaurant in Hubbard. Prior to this she worked with her father in the family grocery store and was also a partner in The Longo Land Development Company.

She was a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard, the Infant Jesus of Prague, Altar and Rosary Society and was active in the St. Patrick School and Ursuline High School Parent Teacher Associations. Ann enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening and the culinary arts.

Her husband, Anthony P. Orlando, whom she married June 21, 1941, died October 6, 1990.

She leaves two daughters, Mary Ann (Thomas) Long of Chagrin Falls, OH and Carol (Steve) Ruby of Hubbard; two grandchildren, Mathew Long of Jersey City, NJ and Meredith Long of Frisco, CO.

She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, Frank, John, Jim, Anthony, Joseph and William Longo and a sister, Mary Burwig.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 9:15 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church.

Family and friends may call on Sunday, 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
