TAMPA FL Ann Kiefer-Davis, 88, formerly of 46 Manor Dr., Brookfield, died Saturday evening February 4, 2012 of an extended illness at Suncoast Brookside Hospice in Palm Harbor, FL. She was born September 3, 1923 in Arnold, PA, a daughter of Nicholas and Tillie (Fedorchek) Holowenko.
Mrs. Davis worked in the offices of Westinghouse Electric in Sharon for over 10 years, and later for the US Census Bureau and then Litton Industries as a microwave consultant. She was a former member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Sharon, PA, and most recently attended Espiritu Santo Catholic Church, Safety Harbor, FL. A 1942 graduate of Brookfield High School, Mrs. Davis was an avid bridge player, enjoyed ballroom dancing and traveling, especially to Atlantic City and Las Vegas. She resided in the Brookfield/Masury area for most of her life before moving to Tampa in 2006.
Her first husband, Jacob (Jack) Kiefer, whom she married in November 1950, died in August 1967; her second husband, James Davis Jr., whom she married in 1977, died in 1980.
She leaves her daughter, Holly L. (Gerald A.) Pappa of Tampa, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church, 357 N. Main St., Hubbard.
Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:00 to 7:30 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home, 709 N. Main Street, Hubbard and also on Saturday one hour prior to the services from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church.
Burial will be at Brookfield Cemetery.
