HUBBARD Ann Candor, 87, of Hubbard, died Wednesday morning, January 19, 2005, at Humility House in Austintown. She was born December 11, 1917, in Youngstown, a daughter of Stephen and Helen Deak Jurista and was a life long area resident.

Mrs. Candor was a secretary/bookkeeper at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard for 15 years, retiring in 1980. A member of St. Patrick Church and the Altar & Rosary Society, Ann was a volunteer for Northside Hospital for 15 years.

Her husband, Joseph Candor, whom she married February 22, 1940, died March 25, 1982.

She leaves two sons, Richard J. (Paula) Candor of Richmond, VA and Denny (Barb) Candor of Austintown; a daughter, Patricia Hamrick of Columbus, OH; a sister, Margaret Demko of Aurora, OH; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, her parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister, preceded her in death.

There will be no calling hours.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, 9:30 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard.
