HUBBARD Amelia Montgomery, 94, of Hubbard, died Wednesday morning, June 2, 2004, at Beeghly Oaks in Youngstown. She was born March 12, 1910 in Hubbard, a daughter of Lawrence and Julia Kosiba Sandusky and was a life long Hubbard resident.
Mrs. Montgomery was a homemaker and also worked for Truscon Mfg. for many years.
She was a member of St. Patrick Church and enjoyed playing bingo, sewing and was an avid cat lover.
Her husband, Wilbur Montgomery, died February 3, 1961.
She leaves nieces and nephews; Rita (Richard) Suder of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Eugene Costick of Arizona, Elaine (Jack) Hacker of Hubbard, Cecelia (Dennis) Clark of Cincinnati, Stephen (Joanne) Vernarsky of Poland and David (Dorothy) Vernarsky of Campbell; also many great-nieces and nephews as well as great-great nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, her parents, three sisters, Lillian Costick, Mayme Bereis and Julia Vernarsky and a nephew, Michael Costick, preceded her in death
Funeral services will be at 9:15 a.m. Saturday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church.
At Amelia's request there will be no calling hours.
