HUBBARD Alice M. Choppa, 82, of Villa Maria, PA, formerly of Hubbard, died Thursday morning at St. Elizabeth Health Center. She was born December 31, 1919, in Hubbard, a daughter of Anthony and Rose Ferrett Choppa and lived most of her life in Hubbard.

She was a computer operator at Northside Medical Center for 25 years, retiring in 1985. Prior to this she worked for Strouss-Hirshberg for 20 years.

She was a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard and a 1938 graduate of Hubbard High School.

She leaves a sister, Zita (Nick) Novosel of Hubbard; 32 nieces and nephews and their families. Four brothers, Guy, John, Anthony (Bummy) and Robert Choppa; five sisters, Martha Bunn, Seraphine Papa, Anna Lockard, Rosebud Choppa and Mary Choppa; one nephew, one great nephew and one great niece are deceased.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 9:30 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, 1 to 4 PM.
