HUBBARD Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 9:00 AM at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Michael Swierz officiating for Alfred F. Rose Jr., 71, who died Tuesday evening March 29, 2016 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. He was born September 24, 1944 in Richmond, VA, a son of Alfred F and Ann Jennings Rose and had lived in Hubbard for 40 years coming from Virginia.
Al was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church and owned and operated Al's Pub and Grille in Hubbard since 1995. He was a member of the Hubbard Northside Club, the Hubbard Kiwanis Club Division 25 and had served as past Lieutenant Governor and was also a member of the Girard Knights of Columbus.
He leaves his wife, the former Norma J. George, whom he married September 23, 1978; two sons, James P. Rose and Jonathan F. (Crystal) Rose both of Hubbard; a sister, Martha (Chuck) Skraitz of Richmond, VA; a granddaughter, Autumn Rose and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Mary Lewis.
Family and friends may call on Friday, 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.

Al's final resting place will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
