HUBBARD Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home for Alfred L. Rainey, 85 of 297 Jacobs Rd. who died Saturday afternoon at Northside Medical Center. He was born March 25, 1915, in New Castle, PA, a son of John and Lucy DiNucci Rainey and moved to Hubbard in 1978 coming from New Castle.

Mr. Rainey was a clerk for the B & O Railroad, Hazelton Yard, for 38 years retiring in 1976. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard and bowled in the Wabash Bears Bowling League, New Castle for many years. He enjoyed gardening, yard work, sports and fishing.

His first wife, the former Helen Alick, and his second wife, the former Marian Davis Hosler, are deceased. He leaves two sons, Ronald Rainey of New Castle, PA and Frederick Rainey of San Bernardino, CA; a brother, Michael Rainey of New Castle, PA; three sisters, Catherine Landis, Virginia Restivo and Mary Gagliano, all of New Castle, PA; four grandchildren. A sister, Lyda Fobes and two brothers, Louis and Albert "Monk" Rainey are deceased.

Friends may call at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home one-hour prior to the service on Tuesday.

Burial will be in Hubbard Union Cemetery.
