HUBBARD Aletha "Lee" Meeker, 84, died Sunday morning April 13, 2014 at Liberty Health Care. She was born May 3, 1929 in Hubbard, a daughter of Guy and Katherine Connely Fluent and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.

Mrs. Meeker, a homemaker, was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Hubbard. Aletha was a member of the IV C's China Painting Club of Hubbard for more than 30 years and enjoyed painting.

She leaves a son, Christopher R. Meeker of Hubbard; a sister, Maralicia Aber of Hubbard; two granddaughters, Amy Meeker of Erie and Holly (Todd) MacKendrick of Fowler; three great grandchildren, Christopher Mehaffey, Sean-Thomas Mehaffey and Shayla MacKendrick all of Fowler.

Aletha was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth R. Meeker; two brothers, Addison Fluent Sr. and John Fluent and two sisters, Louise Bartlett and Betty Bradbury.

Family and friends may call on Wednesday 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00 AM at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Bloomster officiating.

The family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512.

Interment will be at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
