HUBBARD Albert W. Duffield, 92, of Hubbard, died Thursday morning, March 31, 2005, at O'Brien Memorial Nursing Home. He was born January 24, 1913, in New Castle, PA, a son of Albert E. and Rose Darrall Duffield and was a life long area resident.

Mr. Duffield had his own bakery delivery service, delivering Poulakos, Schwebels and Pesce baked goods for 33 years, retiring in 1978. After retiring, he worked for Pinkerton Security for 5 years. Albert was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in New Castle, was an avid tennis player and a member of Avalon and Liberty Tennis Clubs.

His wife, the former Grace Boyle Duffield, whom he married September 12, 1946, died September 2, 1998.

He leaves three daughters, Rose Ann Van Valien, Susan C. Duffield and Anna Mae (Walter) Spincic, all of Hubbard; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Besides his wife, his parents and 3 sisters, Rose Bank, Mae Davison and Dora Wilkie, preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service.
