HUBBARD Ahmed "Chubby" Chaibi, 38, of Hubbard, died Thursday afternoon, November 25, 2004 at his residence after fighting a courageous battle of leukemia for the past 4 ½ years. He was born September 16, 1966 in Youngstown, a son of Assad and Margie Murphy Chaibi.
Mr. Chaibi worked for Fram Filters in Greenville, OH and was a member of St. Patrick Church in Hubbard. A 1985 graduate of East High School, Chubby was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and was loved by all who knew him.
He leaves his mother, Margie Chaibi of Youngstown; his wife, the former Lisa A. Clark, whom he married November 14, 1987; two sons, Anthony A. Chaibi and Nicholas A. Chaibi, both at home; a daughter, Chelsea P. Chaibi, at home; a brother, Assad M. Chaibi of Youngstown; four sisters, Cathy O'Donnell of Buffalo, NY, Zahara A. Chaibi of Struthers, Zayna A. Kriebel of Lowellville, Tammy L. Chaibi of Lowellville; 20 nieces and nephews who loved and adored him.
Preceding him in death were his father, a sister, Peggy O'Donnell, a brother, Mohammed A. Chaibi, Sr., a nephew, Mohammed A. Chaibi, Jr., and his mother-in-law, Debbie Clark.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, 12:15 p.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and
1:00 p.m. at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard.
Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
