HUBBARD Agnes S. Wissinger, 89, died Saturday afternoon, February 11, 2006, at Northside Medical Center. She was born April 20, 1916, in Youngstown, a daughter of Charles E. and Bridget C. Burns LaVan and lived most of her life in Hubbard.

Agnes, a homemaker, was a member of St. Patrick Church where she was a lector, commentator, communion distributor, a member of the worship committee and ASPERGRO. She was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society where she had served as president, vice president, secretary and treasurer during her many years of membership. She was a member and chaplain of the Hubbard Senior Citizens and was its Nutrition Woman of the Year in 2003. She was a member and past president of the Hubbard Christians in Action, a member and former secretary of the Women's Democratic Club and a Red Cross volunteer.

Her husband, Clyde G. Wissinger, whom she married October 6, 1938, died December 15, 1980. She leaves a son, William E. (Brenda) Wissinger of Brennan, TX; two daughters, Judith (Steve) Kashmann of San Antonio, TX and Marilyn "Cookie" Dudley of Hubbard; two sisters, Kathleen Brooks and Audrey Rydar, both of Hubbard; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her husband, her parents and a sister, Mary Louise Kruppa are deceased.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 9:15 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Church in Hubbard.

Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
