HUBBARD Agnes D. Nalepa, 83, died Sunday August 30, 2009 at Mahoning Valley Hospital. She was born March 14, 1926 in Campbell a daughter of John and Elizabeth Yatsco Macara and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Nalepa was a nurse for Dr. Stechschulte�s office for 30 years and was previously a nurse at Northside Hospital for 15 years. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, Hubbard where she was a CCD teacher and a member of the Blanket Bunch.

Agnes graduated from the Northside School of Nursing, was a member of the Cadet Nurses Corps. during World War II and was very active in forming the nurses union at Northside Hospital.

She served on the parish council at St. John�s Church, Campbell, was a member of the Women�s Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus, was active in the Boy Scouts and was a member of the Retried Nurses Association and the Catholic Nurses Association.

Her husband, Rudolph W. Nalepa, whom she married April 3, 1948, died March 17, 1993.

She leaves a daughter, Laura (John) Hall of Stafford, VA; two sons, Randolph (Peggy) Nalepa of Houston and Russell (Kathie) Nalepa of Hubbard; a sister, Dorothy Dickey of North Olmstead; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Richard Nalepa and three sisters, Ruth Bonace, Grace Dean and Mary Domagalski.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9:15 AM at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and 10:00 AM at St. Patrick Church.

Family and friends may call on Tuesday 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Contributions may be made to the Scholarship Fund at St. Patrick Church, 225 North Main St., Hubbard, OH 44425.
